How to Configure TP Link Router
Connect the modem to the TP-Link router using an Ethernet cable.
Connect the TP-Link router to the power outlet and then press the Power On/Off button to turn it on.
Launch the Google Chrome web browser or any other web browser on your computer and then enter the IP address of the TP-Link router in the address bar.
Type the username and the password in the required field on the router’s Login screen.
Use the default username and password. Make sure to enter the credential details correctly. After entering the appropriate credentials, click the Login button.
The Quick Setup window will be displayed on the screen.
Select the Next button at the bottom of the screen. Select your network name (SSID) in the Wireless Network Name section.
Select the WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK option in the Wireless Security section and then type the password in the Wireless Password field.
Select the Next button after you complete with the configuration settings.
Click the Finish button and then use your new wireless network name and password in the respective fields to log into your wireless network.
Proceed with the following steps to change the default username and password of the TP-Link router.
First, sign in to the TP-Link router web setup page using the default login credentials like username and password. The ‘admin’ is the default username and password for the TP-Link router.
Select the System Tools option on the left panel of the screen and then click the Password option. Provide the old as well as the new username and password when the Password window opens.
After entering the credentials, click the Save button. Use your new username and password to check whether you can log into the TP-Link router.
Once you sign into the TP-Link router using the new credentials, click the WPS option on the left panel of the screen. Select the Disable WPS option when the WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) window opens.
Connect to TP Link Router
To set the TP-Link router, you need to connect the TP-Link router to the main router. Follow the given below steps to set up a TP-Link router.
Use an Ethernet cable to establish the connection between the TP-Link router and the main router.
Sign into the TP-Link router web interface using appropriate credentials.
After logging into the TP-Link account, select the Network option on the left panel of the screen and then click the LAN option.
Instead of using the LAN IP address of the TP-Link router, you need to use the LAN IP address of the main router. Make sure to modify the LAN IP address in the LAN window.
Go back to the previous window, select the Wireless option and then click the Wireless Settings option from the list on the left panel of the screen.
Configure the settings by changing the wireless network name and password. Once you finish the configuration settings of the wireless network, select the Save button.
Make sure to disable the DHCP server. Finally, select the System Tools option and then click the Reboot option to complete the setup of the TP-Link router.
How to Configure QoS on TP-LINK Router
To configure QoS on your TP-Link router, read and proceed with the guided instructions given below.
First, sign into the TP-link router official site and create a log in password.
You can find the default password of your TP-link router on the bottom its label.
After that, click the Advanced button followed by the QoS option.
Select the Settings option in the QoS section.
Check if the Enable QoS option is checked.

Set the maximum upload and download bandwidths in the drop-down menu.

Click the View Existing Devices button and choose your device from the list.

Sign into the official site of the TP-link router from your system’s web browser.
Enter the required credentials in the given field and click the Login button.
For most TP-link router models, the username and password are admin.
Select the Advanced tab followed by the NAT option.
Click the Virtual Servers option in the NAT section.
Now the Virtual Servers tab will appear on the screen, type the Name, External Port, Internal Port, and Internal Server information in the given field.

Find the default IP address of the TP-Link router and open the default browser.
Key in the IP address in the search bar.
Tap the Forwarding option from the left panel of the window. Select the Virtual Servers option.
Choose the Add New option. Key in the Service Port, Internal Port, and the IP Address details.
Go to the Protocol section and choose the All option. Under Status, select the Enabled option.
