Identify the default gateway of the Netgear router setup using the Command Prompt app on your Windows computer.
Open the browser and access the Netgear administrative interface using the login credentials.
Click the Advanced tab and navigate to the Internet Port panel to check the connection status.
Check whether you have selected the PPPoE option in the Connection Status field.
