Make sure the router is connected to the internet and the Windows computer.
Turn on your Windows computer.
Open the default browser.
Enter the TP-Link IP address (located at the back of the router) in the address bar of the browser and press the Enter button.

On the left side of the router, page click the Management option.
Under Management, select the option Access control.
You will see a checkbox beside the WAN ICMP Enable option.
Click the box to enable the WAN option.
In some TP-Link routers, the option is available under Advanced Security. Go to the Security tab after logging into the web interface of the router.
Select Advanced Security and then scroll down to the bottom of the window.
Mark the ‘Ignore Ping Packet from WAN port’ checkbox. Click the Save tab to apply the changes.
