Set Up Your D-Link Router In Bridge Mode
Take an Ethernet cable and connect it between your computer and one of the LAN ports of the router.
Now connect the D-Link router to a power source and turn it on.
Open the default browser on your computer, enter the router’s default IP address, and press the Enter button.
Enter the default login credentials and click the OK button.
The D-Link router page will open.
Locate and click the Wireless tab and then select the Wireless Settings option on the page.
You will see a set of options and a couple of checkboxes. Click the box to enable the option WDS.
Enter the SSID name on the D-Link router page.
The AP list will now open.
Select the SSID name you have entered on the list and then click the Connect button located on the right side of the option.
In the next step, the SSID will be filled automatically.
Enter the Wireless security settings and then click the Save button.
Go back to the Wireless Security page, then click the DHCP option.
Select the DHCP settings, click the Disable radio button, and then click the Save button.
Click the Network option on the left pane, click the LAN option, and make changes to the IP address.
Click the Save button.
Navigate to the System Tools option and click the Reboot button.
