Now, connect your Belkin router to the modem using the attached Ethernet cable.
Insert the router’s power supply cable into an electrical outlet.

Once the router lights become idle, insert the router’s setup CD into your computer.
Wait for the installer file to open automatically.
If it fails to open, then open the file by double-clicking on it.
When prompted, type the default username and password of your router in the given field. (Note: You can find the default credentials at the bottom of the router.)
