Step 1: Physical Setup

  • Turn off your modem if it is turned on and disconnect its power cable from the power outlet.
  • Now, using an Ethernet cable, connect your modem to the Asus RT-N15U router.
  • Similarly, using another Ethernet cable, connect the router and computer.
  • Connect the Asus router, modem, and your computer to a power source and turn them on.
  • Make sure that the Wi-Fi and Power lights on your router’s control panel are blinking.

Step 2: Configuring The Router Settings

  • On your Windows or Mac computer (that is connected to your Asus router), open the internet browser.
  • Now, go to the router’s web access page using the router’s IP address or URL.
  • In the Login window, type the default credentials of your Asus router.
  • Now, the Quick Internet Setup screen will open.
  • Click on the GO button.
