- Go to your computer and then launch the default web browser.
- Navigate to the address bar of the web browser, type the IP address of the Linksys router, and press the Enter key on the computer’s keyboard.
- For most of the Linksys router models, the default IP address is 192.168.1.1. If you have previously changed the IP address of the Linksys router, enter a new one in the address bar of the web browser.
- Note: You can also use the Linksys router login URL instead of the IP address to access the user interface of the Linksys router.
- Now, you will see the login page of the Linksys router.
- Select the Click Here link next to For local access.
- The Access Router dialog box will appear on the screen to access Linksys router without smart wifi.
- Type the password of the Linksys router in the Router Password field and click the Sign In button.
- The password for the Linksys router setup is admin by default. If you had changed the router password previously, type a new password in the Router Password field.
- The user interface of the Linksys router will appear on the screen.
